Bananas

Fairtrade bananas are available in the Co-opMorrisons, Nisa, Somerfield , Lidl and Spar, and other small food stores. Most Fairtrade bananas come from the Caribbean and Central South American.

Oranges and Citrus (Link)

Fairtrade Oranges, Lemons, Satsumas, Clementines, Navels, Navel Lates and Valencias are often available in the Co-op and oranges and lemons also available in Morrisons .

Fairtrade citrus fruits come from South Africa, Morocco and Egypt.

Fairtrade apples from South Africa are  available from the Co-op, and Morrisons when in season.

Grapes

Fairtrade Green and Red Grapes from South Africa are  available when in season from the Co-op and Morrisons . The farms which supply Fairtrade grapes are part of the Thandi initiative. This supports the establishment of empowerment projects in South Africa, where workers become co-owners of fruit farms.

Mangoes are the world's most plentiful tropical fruit many British shoppers aren't familiar with the fruit as they have never tasted one.

Set the trend and buy Fairtrade mangoes from the Co-op, or Morrisons, when they're in season.

Pears and Plums

Fairtrade pears and plums from South Africa are available from the Co-op when in season.


Pineapples

Fairtrade pineapples from Costa Rica and Ghana are available from the  Co-op and Morrisons.
